IB formula & data booklets
In some subjects you get a formula or data booklet in the exam. Knowing exactly what is in it — and what is not — decides how much you memorise.
We link to the IB's own PDFs rather than re-hosting them, so you always have the current version.
What the booklet gives you
The booklets give the formulas, constants and (for the sciences) the data you are expected to use without deriving them. That is a real advantage — but only if you know the booklet well enough to reach for it instead of trying to remember.
What it leaves out
The booklet is not exhaustive. You still memorise: how each formula is used, the conditions under which it applies, the notation the mark scheme expects, and the standard results that are not listed. A worked example usually loses marks not for the formula but for applying it without stating its conditions.
