FIC3.1.1
What the task is
HL students work collaboratively in a core production team to plan and create an original completed film, each writing a project report on their one film production role and their collaboration.
FIC3.1.2
The core production team
Students work in core production teams of two to four students from within the school community, each taking one discrete film production role.
FIC3.1.3
Formal requirements and the black slate
Each student submits a completed cover sheet, a completed film of 7 minutes maximum, and a project report of 2,000 words maximum with a list of sources.

Structuring the project report
The project report is a written account of the student’s involvement, ordered under two headings given equal weight.

Non-original materials and music
Students are expected to be the creators of all audio-visual materials: the submitted film must not contain any non-original materials.

Criterion A: Demonstration of skills
To what extent does the student demonstrate skills in their one chosen film production role that successfully contribute to the overall effectiveness of the completed film?
