1. Quadratic over linear: $\dfrac{ax^2+bx+c}{dx+e}$

   Graphs with a vertical asymptote and an oblique (slant) asymptote, found by division.

2. Linear over quadratic: $\dfrac{ax+b}{cx^2+dx+e}$

   Graphs with up to two vertical asymptotes and horizontal asymptote $y=0$.
